How to use Transform Text to Lowercase

Use complete conversion for consistent letter case or random selection for a variable text effect.

All or Random Lowercase

  1. Paste the source text into Insert list. It can contain one row or several rows.
  2. Under Mode, choose All symbols for complete lowercase conversion. Choose Random symbols to lowercase randomly selected letters while leaving other characters unchanged.
  3. Click Transform to process the current input.
  4. Read Result and Number of rows. Numbers, punctuation, and line breaks are not converted into letters.
  5. Click Copy under the output you want to keep. Use Clear where shown to clear the text fields; option selections stay as set.

For HELLO World! 42 with All symbols selected, Result is hello world! 42. Random symbols does not have one fixed expected result.

Complete conversion normalizes letter case

All symbols converts the text with ordinary Unicode lowercase mappings. It does not translate words, remove accents, or remove punctuation.

Random lowercasing only moves toward lowercase

Random symbols does not randomly uppercase letters that are already lowercase. It lowercases selected letters and preserves unselected ones, so fully lowercase input stays lowercase.

Lowercase a random selection of letters

Choose Random symbols under Mode, then click Transform. Review Result as a variable text effect; existing lowercase letters remain lowercase.

Frequently asked questions

Only characters with lowercase mappings change. Numbers, punctuation, and row breaks keep their roles in the text.
