Backward Text (Flipping)
Developer & Author —Egor VolchenkoCreate backward text by reversing the character order within each row. The tool returns both a plain reversed version and a flipped text variant, useful for inspecting short strings or making text effects.
How to use Backward Text (Flipping)
Use separate rows for strings that should be reversed independently.
Text Reverser
- Paste the text into Insert text. Use line breaks to separate rows that should be reversed independently.
- Click Execute to process the current input.
- Read Backward text for plain character reversal and Flipped text for the reversed version with supported symbol substitutions.
- Click Copy under the output you want to keep. Use Clear where shown to clear the text fields; option selections stay as set.
For abc!, Backward text is !cba and Flipped text is ¡cba. Latin letters are reversed but are not given a complete upside-down alphabet.
Rows stay in their original order
Each row is reversed separately. The first source row remains the first output row, so this differs from reversing the order of an entire list.
Flipped characters have a limited mapping
The flipped variant substitutes selected Cyrillic letters and punctuation. It does not implement a complete upside-down Latin alphabet, and unsupported characters keep their original shapes.
