Remove Duplicate Rows
Developer & Author —Egor VolchenkoRemove duplicate rows from a pasted list while choosing how capitalization and word order affect matching. The result keeps the last occurrence of each matching group, which matters when repeated entries use different spellings.
Treat uppercase and lowercase letters as different characters.
Treat rows containing the same words in a different order as matches.
How to use Remove Duplicate Rows
Decide whether case and word order matter, then check which final occurrences remain.
Duplicate Line Remover
- Paste one entry per row into Insert list. Include the complete list whose duplicates you want to remove.
- Leave Case-sensitive off to group case variants. Turn on Ignore word order when phrases with the same words should count as duplicates.
- Click Remove duplicates to process the current input.
- Read Result, Rows remaining, and Rows removed. The surviving rows follow the positions of their last occurrences in the source.
- Click Copy under the output you want to keep. Use Clear where shown to clear the text fields; option selections stay as set.
For Apple, Banana, and apple with both options off, Result is Banana followed by apple. Two rows remain and one is removed.
The last occurrence survives
This duplicate line remover retains the last matching row rather than the first. Both its spelling and its position determine the final result, so review case variants before replacing your original list.
Choose what makes two rows equivalent
Without Ignore word order, spacing and word order stay significant. With it on, word tokens are sorted for comparison and extra spacing between tokens no longer distinguishes otherwise equivalent rows.
