How to use Replace Line Breaks with Spaces

Check the capitalization option before joining the rows into a single text sequence.

Join Lines with Spaces

  1. Paste the rows into Insert list. Keep the line breaks you want to replace in the source.
  2. Leave Transform to lowercase selected to lowercase the joined text, or clear it to preserve the source capitalization.
  3. Click Remove line breaks to process the current input.
  4. Read Result as a single line. A space replaces each line break; existing spaces inside the source rows remain.
  5. Click Copy under the output you want to keep. Use Clear where shown to clear the text fields; option selections stay as set.

With Apple and PEAR on separate rows, the default result is apple pear. Clear Transform to lowercase for Apple PEAR.

Joining rows is separate from spacing cleanup

Each line break becomes one space. Blank rows or spaces already at row edges can leave repeated spaces in the result; this operation does not collapse them.

Copied paragraphs become one text sequence

Use it when a destination field expects one line. Paragraph boundaries are removed along with other line breaks, so review where sentence separation matters.

Frequently asked questions

No. Each source line break is replaced with a space so neighboring rows do not simply run together.
